ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Capturing portraits is a true work of art. From choosing the right backdrop or scene, props, lighting and poses
to that wonderful candid moment! I love capturing a moment in time and making it last forever to be shared generation
to generation. Being chosen as a photographer for any occasion is enlightening.

My goal as a photographer is to give every client a professional portrait session that is enjoyable, creative and
inclusive of the client by allowing them to be part of the planning. I strive to give GREAT pictures from start to finish
as anyone can take a couple good pictures but it takes skill to capture great pictures throughout. As a professional
photographer I include touchups for acne, shine, and other distractions to make every portrait its absolute best.

I have been asked what do you consider your style? For weddings my answer is a storybook style.
I don't want to miss a thing so I work hard to capture the details a bride so carefully plans, candid
moments that capture the true memories as well as the professionally posed portraits of family
bridal party members, the bride and groom and other special persons. Weddings are my favorite subject/event
to photograph! It's so exciting to be able to capture each moment and make them last forever!
I give my very best effort to every wedding and portrait session treating it as if it were my own.

I began as an artist drawing, painting and being involved in music and dance. I decided to pursue a career
as a graphic artist as I love both designing artwork and and doing photography. I have always been fascinated with
professional photographs,and once I was able to purchase my first professional camera my passion really took off!
I have truly enjoyed learning photography starting with the basics in film and a dark room, and moving to
professional digital photography where there is so much more opportunity and creativity to explore!

My education includes an Associates Degree in Digital Graphics from Terra Community College where I was
able to learn many aspects of photography, photoshop editing, web design and much more! Experience through trial
and error as well as by learning through other photographers and speakers at PPO (Professional Photographer's of
Ohio) and LSPP (Lima Society of Professional Photographers) meetings and conventions, taking online courses,
reading equipment manuals to fully understand them, and a book collection that is ever growing to be constantly
learning new ideas and techniques.
